Hi, it’s Tyrone from Outsourcinglive.com. What I like to share with you today is a very, very powerful system that is available for free on Google. It’s called Google Apps and if you haven’t heard of it, it’s an application system that allows for you to store emails, calendars, documents and also setup websites as well for free on Google.

A lot of people still don’t know that you could actually access this all for free without having to pay for it because there are organizations out there that need to pay for this and I think they pay a yearly fee as well. But Google, they’ve purposely hidden the link so that way people don’t get access to this and I’m revealing to you how to get access to this for free.

So if you just go to Outsourcinglive.com/googleapps. And remember it’s Apps with the A-P-P-S at the end. Now let me just share with you firstly the importance of this system here. As I’ve mentioned, I have used it to email, documents and so forth. Let’s just have a look at how my business works.

Essentially, let’s just say this is my website, Outsourcing Live which is right here and anyone who wants to send emails to me actually sends it out to say for example – this is my email and they’re sending an email out to my support address. So it’s got support(at)outsourcinglive(dot)com. That’s just short. So it’s just basically supposed to be Outsourcinglive.com.

Now, a lot of people dont’ realize that in actual fact, this here is stored by Google Apps. So if you send an email to me, it comes straight through and it’s actually sent over and supported by this email address which is support(at)outsourcinglive and it gets stored on the Google Apps server therefore I’ve got free email setup and free email storage there and I can store up to from memory it’s about 7GB now for free so therefore I don’t even need to have any – what’s the word for it – worry about storage and deletion and plus I’m using the Google search engine to search through all the emails and this is really powerful because then I don’t need to have separate email service setup on my current server. Because I find that if I had to set my email on my server for example, there’s a high chance that it’ll clog up my server and it’ll slow my server down.

Just to let you know, Outsouricnglive runs on a server called NineHost and they’re very, very – very good virtual private server which I’ve been using for many years and they’re excellent for this but the thing is I didn’t want to store any of my mail because when my server goes down, my mail goes down as well too. So what I”ve done is I’ve set it up so that I can actually have emails directed to the Google Apps email.

Same thing as well if you didn’t know, I also have my online calendar setup as well with Google Apps. Google Apps stores all my daily – daily appointments, anything that I can – I need to set inside my calendar is stored all online. So if anything happens to my diary for example, my iPhone gets stolen or my laptop gets lost, everything’s still stored safely online and it can be synced in different ways. It can be synced with my iPhone, it can be synced with my iCalendar or if you’re on MS Outlook, you can sync that as well too. In addition, my virtual staff gets access to this as well. I obviously give certain people access, it’s my virtual assistant that I give access to as well personally.

So that’s – that’s calendar. Same thing as well I have documents stored on Google Docs which is basically our – or the free part which is the Google Apps free document storage place and it allows you to upload documents like doc, xls, I’m not sure about Powerpoint presentations but you can literally upload these two main files and store them there or alternatively you can type all that stuff all online and store it there as well. So it’s really powerful to have that in place and that way you don’t have to actually have any of these stored on your own server but you store it all on the Google Apps service.

So I thought I give you as a rundown what potentially you could do with Google Apps if you’re looking to setup a website or store your things online. And that’s how my business works because that way I don’t have to put any load on our servers and worry if anything happens to our server goes down, everything’s still stored and spread out over the different Google Application service.

All right so to get this setup for free, just simply go to Outsourcinglive.com/googleapps. Type in your domain name. As I’ve setup already Outsourcing Live, I’m going to use another domain name, one that I haven’t setup is Freevideoset.com so I’m going to use that as an example, click on Get Started and what it’ll do is it’ll show you step by step what to do, you’ve just got to sign up and follow the instructions.

Very easy to do so I’ll just put in my details Okay, you can see I’ve filled in all my details, just make sure you’ve put in you first name, last name, email address, everything that’s got asterisk basically with it and let’s just scroll down – and I’ll just put No for having our sales team assisted and then simply click Continue. Easy as that.

And then what you’ll find is that it’ll ask you to create an administrator account so let’s create one as well. Once you’ve typed in your details with your password and your username type in what’s in the captcha – and then go down to the bottom here saying terms and conditions, simply tick that. I would not tick this so that I don’t want to receive free services to enable blah, blah but just simply click Continue and continue with the setup.

And perfect. This is where you land. As you can see, it’s only two-step process, that didn’t take very long and as you can see it’s just taken over to the Google Apps which is the Welcome Start Setup Wizard and just follow these instructions. Simply click on the Next here to setup your User Groups, Apps, etc.

I won’t run through this in detail but I just want to give you a quick overview is that you can setup multiple email addresses here as many as you want. You can setup your calendar, you can setup your document – and if you just follow these instructions it’s very easy to use.

If you want to also too, I’ll click on Dashboard, I want to show you what the available applications are once you setup and sign up first.

Okay you can – you need to first activate Google Apps with your domain and that’s quite easy. Just simply click on that and either upload a file onto your server where you’ve located here so for example Freevideoset.com is my domain and I’ve just got uploaded an HTML file and just click and follow these instructions, it’s a three-step process very easy and then you’ll notice down here, there are different types of applications that are available. You’ve got the Email as I mentioned, you get six, 7GB sorry – you get you Calendar, you also get as well your Docs which is what I was talking about, Sites, Mobile, Chat, Contacts, etc.

Now you can use these, Those are no problem. I haven’t used Chat, Contacts, Mobile or Sites because I don’t really need them. But the most important is the Docs, the Calendar and the Email and that’s what I’ve integrated with all my domains and websites and you’re most welcome to also add additional services that you have here. Not all of them are for free, majority of them are free but there are some that you can pay for. You can try all these out as well. But it’s really powerful because Google Apps allows you to do much more and it’s a very easy to use system plus it’s also owned by Google which means that Google has very, very reliable service and furthermore, it’s one of the largest known search engines in the world which provides a lot of these things for free.

So I hope that you’ve enjoyed now. Go through now to try it out, set it up for free and let me know what your thoughts are, this is a really powerful tool. I use this with every single one of my domain names that I have or every single one of the websites that I have and it’s never failed for me so I’ve been very fortunate.

The other thing that I want to caution to you is just make sure that you do use this with the right intentions. Don’t go about using Google Apps to spam and to do illegitimate stuff so obviously Google will ban you for that but if you do this and use it properly then you’re fine okay.

So that’s just a caution and don’t blame if I warned you but I’ve heard some people who have got their accounts shut down because they’ve used it for the wrong reasons all right.
